NOTE: Due to Coronavirus, OLOTEAS will NOT be meeting in person. We will host our event online-only, on the Zoom platform.
As is our tradition, during the Samhain ritual we will read the names of those who have passed in the previous year whose memory we wish to honor. If you wish to submit names to be read, please send them to OLOTEAS (at) oloteas (dot) org by 5:00 PM, WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 21. *PLEASE* include pronunciation information.

Young Adult & Occult is a space for Pagans in their late teens and early twenties (roughly 15-25) to build community and learn together that is held monthly at OLOTEAS events (and sometimes offsite).
For this month's Young Adult & Occult, we will have an introduction to magickal alphabets and runic languages, while discussing symbols in magickal practices.

What are some of the ways you celebrate or have celebrated Halloween or Samhain? What do these traditions mean to you? Join us for a fairly informal discussion to share with and learn from each other.
4:45–6:15 pm Workshop: Techniques of Spellcraft and Theories of Magick (with Bobby)
Join us for an introduction to the principles and ethical considerations of crafting a spell, and the physics and metaphysics that make "magick" possible.

Ritual: Samhain 2020 (with Jane)
This year has been a year of loss. As is our tradition, we will be reading the names of those dear to us who have passed. We cannot hug each other, hold each other, as we would normally do. But we can still share our voices and our tears. Gather with us as we create a virtual space to grieve our losses together.

For the parents in our community, if you are not already a member, you may be interested in joining the OLOTEAS Parents, Etc. group, where we will be sharing resources for education and entertainment for the kiddos who are stuck at home. This group is ONLY for family members of children in the OLOTEAS community, and is a private group. To join, please send a friend request to the OLOTEAS Pastor FB account (not the FB group), and also send a DM requesting membership. You will then receive an invitation to join the group.
