Workshops & Rituals:

2:00 pm: Longhouse site opens

2:30 pm: Opening Circle (with Sebastien)

3:00 pm: All-ages activity: StitchNWitch (with Tarrent)
StitchNWitch is a social gathering where the community can come together with their favorite crafts (it doesn't have to be stitching!) and join one another in a shared love of crafting and open round-table-style conversation about various topics and interests.

3:00 pm: Young Adult & Occult Discussion Group: Gender and Sexuality in Paganism (with Sebastien)
Young Adult & Occult is a space for Pagans in their late teens and early twenties (roughly 15-25) to build community and learn together that is held monthly at OLOTEAS events (and sometimes offsite). At this month's Young Adult & Occult: We will discuss how gender, sexuality, and Paganism intersect and interact.

4:00 pm: GUP Kids' Activity: Beltaine Traditions and Decorating the May Pole Ring (with the Magickal Miscreants)
This is a series of classes about what it means to grow up Pagan – taught by Pagan kids, for Pagan kids. We are all young adults who grew up in Pagan families, and these classes draw on our personal experiences of what we wish we had known growing up and the kids’ own questions about what it means to be Pagan. At this month's Growing Up Pagan: We will talk about Beltaine and the traditions surrounding it while we decorate the May pole ring.

4:00 pm:  Workshop: Drumming! (with Tully and Shay)
Drum up some magic in this workshop! We will cover how to use a drum, finding a rhythm, and drumming for magic. All experience levels are welcome. We will have drums available to borrow, though we encourage folks to bring their own if they can!
Drum circle: Join us after ritual for community drumming and dancing. Drums are available to borrow, or bring your own. Beginners welcome!

5:30 pm: Potluck -- please bring your own feast gear
We encourage you to bring your own feast gear (plate, utensils, cup) to avoid the use of disposable dinnerware.

6:30 pm: Newcomers' Orientation (with Laura)
New to Pagan events or to OLOTEAS? Come to the newcomers' discussion! We'll give you the basics of what you should know, answer any questions you have, and go over more info about what to expect from our rituals and events.

7:00 pm: Pre-Ritual Discussion, followed by Ritual: Beltaine! (with Robert)
Dance the bonfire, dance the maypole! Join us this Beltaine, awaken to spring's sweet bouquet! Songs for the ritual will be taught at Stitch-n-Witch.

After Ritual: Drum Circle (with Tully and Shay)
Join us after ritual for community drumming and dancing.
Drums are available to borrow, or bring your own.
Beginners welcome!

9:00 pm: Cleanup begins (with Tarrent)

What to Bring to the Longhouse:
Please bring a potluck dish to share. No meat may be prepared on the kitchen surfaces (pre-cooked meat is acceptable). We encourage you to bring your own feast gear (plate, utensils, cup) -- this avoids the use of disposable dinnerware. No alcohol or other intoxicants are allowed at OLOTEAS events. Bring a towel for pool/hot tub use. The Longhouse no longer loans out towels -- please bring your own. (Note: the pool area is clothing-optional.) Shoes cannot be worn indoors, so please wear a pair that can be slipped easily on and off. We strive to do the main ritual outside, regardless of weather, so please bring layered clothing for colder/wetter weather if desired. Feel free to bring and play your drums or other instruments. Also, please note that, due to allergy and wildlife concerns, no pets are allowed on site (except service animals).

Registration:
Please check in at the front door when you arrive on-site. We are sustained, and do our part to sustain our community and the wider world, through a multidirectional flow of resource contributions. These contributions include but are not limited to money, skill, talent, and material goods. We ask all those who are able to make a money donation when they come to events (usually $10 for ages 13 and up, and we're not requesting donations for ages 12 and under). This is a request, no one ever has or ever will be turned away from a regular OLOTEAS event for lack of funds, but we do sincerely ask for it if you are able.

A Note About Children:
This site features a swimming pool, hot tub, and many natural outside features that pose potential risks for unattended children. Parents are responsible for the safety and behavior of their children at OLOTEAS events. All children under 13 must be supervised at ALL times. If outdoors, or in the pool area, children must be within line-of-site of their parent or caregiver. In the pool area, an individual adult may be responsible FOR NO MORE THAN 3 CHILDREN (those under 13). Most events offer a kids' class or activity for younger kids and a Young Adult & Occult discussion group (ages 15-25). There are also some games and craft supplies available.

A Note About Parking and Carpooling:
Parking availability at the Longhouse is limited – please carpool if at all possible. Park near the outdoor "Registration" booth or along the stretch of the driveway near the outdoor kitchen and stage areas. Please park close to the adjacent vehicle, but be considerate of vehicles displaying disability license plates or signs. Once at the site, due to limited space, we advise that folks leave most personal belongings in their vehicles. There is no public transit option for the Longhouse, so if you are able to offer a ride or are looking for one, please feel free to post ride availability or requests to the OLOTEAS community email list or our Facebook group page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/oloteas/).

A Note About the OLOTEAS Parents, Etc. Facebook group:
For the parents in our community, if you are not already a member, you may be interested in joining the OLOTEAS Parents, Etc. group, where we will be sharing resources for education and entertainment for the kiddos who are stuck at home. This group is ONLY for family members of children in the OLOTEAS community, and is a private group. To join, please send a friend request to the OLOTEAS Pastor FB account (not the FB group), and also send a DM requesting membership. You will then receive an invitation to join the group.
Also see the GROWING UP PAGAN lesson plans and activity outlines available on our website now.

Healing Temple
Our virtual Healing Temple webpage is always open with resources for self-care and finding support.

Directions to the Longhouse:

Presentation & Ritual Descriptions

1:00 pm Doors open

1:20 – 1:50 Opening Circle (Stone Circle)
Laura, OLOTEAS

Join us for site and schedule orientation, and a ritual to welcome and create sacred space to hold the day.

2:00 – 3:00 Ritual: Demeter’s Message of Abundance (Stone Circle)
Aquarian Tabernacle Church

The Earth is reaching out to you with solutions to today's unrest. The Goddess is here to support and protect you. Come and hear a channeled message from the Gods that brings real solutions to your daily needs. This message comes to us as part of the learnings from the Eleusinian Mysteries, which the ATC assists in presenting each year on Easter Weekend. During this ritual, we will be planting seeds in individual small pots for you to take home.

2:00 – 3:00  Workshop: Anniversary of the Women of the Goddess Circle (Library)
Janice, Martha, and Roberta,
 Women of the Goddess
This year is the 35th anniversary of the Women of the Goddess Circle. Three of the longest-serving members of our Circle will talk about our success story, what we do to keep on going, membership and cross-training, and some of the funny and unusual things that have happened along the way.

2:30 – 8:30  Healing Temple Open (in the Shrine building)

This is space available for rest, refreshment, and calm throughout the event.

3:00 – 4:00 Workshop: Many Faiths, One World - Coming out as a Pagan or Witch (Library)
Stillness Pathway Assembly

As the world turns and new political ideologies emerge, as Pagans, we need to consider what coming out and staying out of the broom closet means. Part workshop, part roundtable discussion, this is a practical discussion of staying in and out of the broom closet, one foot in, or completely in. These are my lessons learned from being "out and about" in the everyday world as both a Pagan and a witch and an executive and business leader in the mundane world. We'll discuss what it is like and what you can do. What will this mean when discussing it with your family, friends, and others? We'll also touch on your Title VII rights in the workplace. Join us for an interactive discussion of living your authentic Pagan life. Come with questions or send them in advance to [email protected].

3:00 – 4:00 Presentation and Ritual: Introduction to ADF + Ritual for Brigid (Block House)
Cascadia Grove, ADF

This Imbolc, we will honor the Goddess Brigid. At Imbolc, we begin to see the first glimmers of spring and the lengthening of daylight. We thank Brigid, keeper of the flame and protector of hearth and home, for guiding us through the winter dark. Shane Coineandubh, Senior Druid of Cascadia Grove, will have a brief introduction to ADF practice (Ár nDraíocht Féin: A Druid Fellowship), followed by a short ritual for Brigid.

4:00 – 5:00 Ritual: Tuatha Dé Danaan Swords, Staves & Wands Ritual for Peace (Stone Circle)
Circle of Coll, OBOD w
ith Cascadian Sean Ciall
The intent of this ritual is to weave love, compassion, kindness, joy, projection, strength, healing, unity, and balance, with swords, staves, wands, and ourselves moving together with unity. Circle of Coll is a Seed Group of the Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids (OBOD).

4:00 – 5:00 Workshop: (Ensnared) Within the Trickster's Circle: Coyote, Loki, and Gods of Change
Cadan, Eternal Spring Church
Have you ever felt a pull towards the unexpected, a nudge from the edges of the ordinary? Step "Within the Trickster's Circle," where we explore the captivating and transformative power of Coyote, Loki, and other Gods of Change. In this workshop, we'll journey into the myths and energies of these compelling Trickster deities, examining how they can ensnare us, disrupt our expectations, and ultimately guide us towards profound personal growth. Through stories, insights, and a touch of playful exploration, we'll discover how embracing the chaotic wisdom of the Tricksters can lead to unexpected awakenings and a deeper understanding of ourselves and the ever-shifting world around us. Prepare to be intrigued, challenged, and perhaps, delightfully ensnared!

4:00 – 5:00 Growing Up Pagan: Cleansing (Kids’ Room)
Abhainn, Magickal Miscreants
Growing Up Pagan is a series of kids’ classes taught by second-generation Pagans, for kids growing up in the Pagan community. This month we will be learning about different types of magical cleansing.

5:00 – 6:00 All-Ages Discussion: Spiritual Paths (Library)
Sebastien, Magickal Miscreants

Bringing the Young Adult & Occult discussion group format to the broader community, this all-ages discussion will be about spiritual paths and how we find them.

5:00 – 6:00 Presentation and Ritual: Introduction to Thelema, OTO, and Horizon (Block House)
Entelecheia, Horizon Ordo Templi Orientis

Curious about Thelema and what it means to “Do what thou wilt”? Interested in exploring the philosophy and practices behind Ordo Templi Orientis (OTO)? Join us for a beginner-friendly lecture designed to introduce you to the spiritual and philosophical system of Thelema, the role of OTO, and how Horizon Lodge brings these teachings to life through ritual, education, and community. After the lecture, there will be a short group ritual, offering a direct experience of the magick of Thelema!

NOTE: Unfortunately, Karol won't be able to join us, so Karol's Kitchen will not be set up to sell burgers. Please plan to bring your own food for the day. (There is an Albertson's with a Starbucks, a Mercurys coffee stand, and a Subway directly across the street from the Longhouse.) Coffee will be provided and fridges and a microwave are available for use.
5:00 – 6:00 Brown bag dinner/snack break (NO POTLUCK – Microwave is available)
This is designated time to break for some food. Bring your own brown-bag dinner – there will NOT be a potluck. Reminders: You can store food in the refrigerator on the back porch of the kitchen – you may want to write your name on your food. Please note you cannot prepare meat on kitchen counters (pre-cooked meat ok). No alcohol on site.

7:00 – 8:00 A Ritual for the Community, to Work Energy Toward Our Will (Stone Circle)
Stephanie, OLOTEAS

We will raise energy together towards the wishes you have for the world, the community, and yourselves at this time. All energy raised will be for the good of all and harming none. If you have a request for the ritual that you’d like to share before the event, you can submit it on this public Google document.

8:00 – 9:00 Ritual: Fires of Brigid (Block House)
Cascadian Sean Ciall
Fires of Brigid is a celebration of the maiden goddess, and the first stirrings of new life in deep winter. This ritual is skyclad (naked) for all participants. Music and liturgies are in Scottish and Irish Gaelic.

9:00 Clean-up begins
Please take all your belongings to your personal vehicles at this time. We appreciate help cleaning up the space at the end of our events as well.

9:00 – 9:15 Closing Circle (Stone Circle)
Jane, OLOTEAS

Join us for a ritual of thanksgiving for the sacred space we’ve held all day.

9:30 pm Doors close

Group & Organization Descriptions

Aquarian Tabernacle Church, atcwicca.org
Since its founding in 1979 by the late Pete "Pathfinder" Davis, the ATC has been a welcoming environment for Wiccans and Pagans of all traditions. The ATC is not a tradition, it is a collective of covens, circles, institutions and charities that work together to provide infrastructure to the Pagan Community and protect Pagan civil rights. Our affiliates become legally recognized churches under our federal 501(c)3 status. The headquarters in Index, WA, The Mother Church Coven, is a coven that helps run this international organization and its many endeavors, like the Wiccan Seminary and Spiral Scouts. The Mother Coven practices the WISE Tradition, which is a tradition based on British Traditional Wicca with other eclectic practices woven in.

Cascadia Grove, adfcascadia.org
Cascasia Grove, ADF (Ár nDraíocht Féin: A Druid Fellowship) offers regular public rituals to local Pagans as well as online. We also support rituals at the White Mountain Druid Sanctuary, a twice-monthly pagan meetup, and a Pagan prison ministry. Our rituals are open to all of good intent and include elements from Indo-European historical documents and studies along with modern components to create a practice that works for this age while respecting and honoring the past. Together, we are creating a non-sexist, anti-racist, inclusive, publicly available religion for this, and future, generations. Email: [email protected].

Cascadian Sean Ciall, seanciall.org
Sean Ciall is a Celtic Deconstructionist tradition comprised of three interdependent Circles of Sword, Song, and Spell. Liturgies and music are performed predominantly in Gaelic. Cascadian Sean Ciall rituals are often focused on the deities and mythical cycles of ancient Ireland, however we are open to people of any spiritual path, or none at all.

Circle of Coll, circleofcoll.org
The Circle of Coll, a Seed Group of the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids (OBOD), works with Druidry as a spiritual way and practice. We work with nature, forests and magick, to fully create in our lives, to commune deeply with the world of Nature, and be with the profound wisdom of the forest, land, sea and sky.

Horizon Lodge Ordo Templi Orientis, seattle-oto.org
Horizon Lodge is a duly chartered body of Ordo Templi Orientis, established to promote the philosophical and religious system of Thelema. We are a community of spiritual seekers united in our struggle against those entrenched ideas and beliefs that have been spread to enslave, oppress, exploit, and divide the human spirit. We recognize each individual as having their own agency, autonomy, and rights of expression and creation, so that the religious experience may remain an individual one.

Magickal Miscreants, oloteas.org/young-adult-and-occult.html
The Magickal Miscreants are a group of Pagan young adults who run children's programming and spiritual discussion groups for teens and young adults at OLOTEAS.

Our Lady of the Earth and Sky (OLOTEAS), oloteas.org
OLOTEAS is an inclusive Pagan church. We are a volunteer-run, non-profit religious organization providing family-oriented Pagan religious services and workshops since 1995. Our monthly services include a workshop, potluck dinner, and ritual in a beautiful natural setting featuring a stone circle, heated swimming pool, hot tub, and acres of wetlands. We are dedicated to promoting religious tolerance and freedom and environmental sustainability. OLOTEAS is a welcoming, family-friendly, queer-and-trans-friendly, and anti-racist space. Email: [email protected]

Stillness Pathway Assembly, tokeepsilent.me
Stillness Pathway Assembly provides spiritual direction/counseling and end-of-life coaching for the dying and their circle of care. Silent has more than 30 years of coaching and work in the global Pagan community.

Women of the Goddess Circle, womenofthegoddess.godaddysites.com
The Women of the Goddess Circle is a feminist Pagan community of women in the Dianic tradition of Wicca. We celebrate the eight Sabbats of the year. We seek thereby to strengthen our connection to the Goddess, to share this connection with others, and to bring wholeness to the world and to our journey in it as the Wheel of the Year turns. We gladly receive women of all ages, levels of experience, sexual orientations, and post-op transwomen. Our presentation at Concentric Circles welcomes everyone.

Workshops & Rituals:

2:00 pm: Longhouse site opens

2:30 pm: Opening Circle (with Robert)

3:00 p
m: All-ages activity: StitchNWitch (with Tarrent)
StitchNWitch is a social gathering where the community can come together with their favorite crafts (it doesn't have to be stitching!) and join one another in a shared love of crafting and open round-table-style conversation about various topics and interests.

3:00 pm: Young Adult & Occult Discussion Group: Magical Cycles (with Valentine)
Young Adult & Occult is a space for Pagans in their late teens and early twenties (roughly 15-25) to build community and learn together that is held monthly at OLOTEAS events (and sometimes offsite). At this month's Young Adult & Occult: We will discuss magical cycles.

4:00 pm: Growing Up Pagan: Cooking Magic and Making Soup (with the Magickal Miscreants)
At this month's Growing Up Pagan: We will talk about cooking magic and make soup for the community.

4:00 pm: Workshop: The Laughing Meditation (with Jane)
"Against the assault of laughter, nothing can stand." - Mark Twain
And studies have shown that laughter lowers stress, boosts the immune system, and can lower cholesterol and blood pressure. It may even aid digestion. Pretty similar benefits to what you would expect from doing regular meditation. Join us and find out what everyone’s laughing about!

7:00 pm: Pre-Ritual Discussion, followed by Ritual: New Year Catharsis: Rage and Release (with Jane)
“The sharpest sword is a word spoken in wrath.” - Gautama Buddha
As a society, we look down upon anger. From a young age, we are told to calm down, to not be angry. All this pent-up anger sickens us and makes us lash out as individuals. Tonight, let us come together to recognize our anger. We are all angry. Let us clear our minds of the fog of rage so that we can move forward with what needs to be done. In the spirit of a New Year, we will also be passing on affirmations to our fellow ritualists.
NOTE: Expressing anger and watching people express anger can be scary; parental guidance suggested.

9:00 pm: Cleanup begins (with Tarrent)

9:30 pm: Closing Circle and site closes (with Tarrent)

-- January: The Pan/Aphrodite Shrine is closed this month.

Take 520 eastbound to the Redmond Way/Fall City (WA 202) Exit. Turn right at the light at the end of the off ramp. Go approximately 5 miles on Redmond-Fall City Road. Driveway is on the right, 23301 (directly across from SmartStop Self Storage). If you pass Albertson's, you have gone about 100 yards too far. When you first pull into the drive you should immediately see a large wooden sign that says The Longhouse; if you don’t you are in the neighbors’ drive.

3:00 pm: Young Adult & Occult Discussion Group: Working with Ancestors in Our Day-to-Day Practice
Young Adult & Occult is a space for Pagans in their late teens and early twenties (roughly 15-25) to build community and learn together that is held monthly at OLOTEAS events (and sometimes offsite). At this month's Young Adult & Occult: We'll have a group discussion about the ways we work with ancestors in our day-to-day practice.

4:00 pm: Memorial votive altar is open
All are welcome to light a candle at the memorial votive altar, to remember our Beloved Dead.

4:00 pm: Growing Up Pagan kids' class: Carving Jack-o-Lanterns! (with the Magickal Miscreants)
At this month's Growing Up Pagan: We'll be carving jack-o-lanterns! All pumpkins and carving supplies will be provided.

4:00 pm: Workshop: Death: The Forbidden Topic (with Jane)
We're Talkin' About It! - Death in U.S. culture is often a forbidden topic, which does a disservice to every one of us, either when a loved one passes, or when the ones who love us find us deceased. Come to a discussion of the forbidden, from different cultural customs to legalities to the practical.

5:30 pm: Potluck -- please bring your own feast gear
We encourage you to bring your own feast gear (plate, utensils, cup) to avoid the use of disposable dinnerware.

6:30 pm: Newcomers' Orientation (with Stephanie)
New to Pagan events or to OLOTEAS? Come to the newcomers' discussion! We'll give you the basics of what you should know, answer any questions you have, and go over more info about what to expect from our rituals and events.

7:00 pm: Pre-Ritual Discussion, followed by Ritual: Samhain (with Jane)
Gather as a community to grieve, and heal, and hail the travelers. We will read the names of those who have passed and give remembrance to their deeds and the love we hold for them. If you wish to add a name to the list of beloved dead, email it (and pronunciation) to [email protected]

9:00 pm: Cleanup begins (with Tarrent)

9:30 pm: Closing Circle and site closes (with Tarrent)

-- October: The Pan/Aphrodite Shrine is OPEN this month.

This is a request, no one ever has or ever will be turned away from a regular OLOTEAS event for lack of funds, but events are expensive, so we do sincerely ask you to contribute if you are able.

Take 520 eastbound to the Redmond Way/Fall City (WA 202) Exit. Turn right at the light at the end of the off ramp. Go approximately 5 miles on Redmond-Fall City Road.

Take 520 eastbound to the Redmond Way/Fall City (WA 202) Exit. Turn right at the light at the end of the off ramp. Go approximately 5 miles on Redmond-Fall City Road. Driveway is on the right, 23301 (directly across from SmartStop Self Storage). If you pass Albertson's, you have gone about 100 yards too far. When you first pull into the drive you should immediately see a large wooden sign that says The Longhouse; if you don’t you are in the neighbors’ drive.
