How you can volunteer with OLOTEAS at an Event Day:

During the Stewardship Party  11:00 AM–2:00 PM:
(dress for weather; we'll feed you lunch!)
     Outside:
  • Get tasks from the Stewardship Lead, to help take care of the site outside
  • Help set up the ritual space
  • Set out rope lights on the path to the stone circle (winter months)
      Inside:
  • Ask the Day Coordinator for tasks you can do to help with site setup indoors
  • Set up the Community Altar
  • Set up the workshop space in the blockhouse
  • Help set up the Aphrodite/Pan Shrine

After doors open, during the day  2:00 PM–10:00 PM:
  • Help in the kitchen:
(any time you're passing by the kitchen area)
    • Keep an eye on the coffee/hot water/cups supply throughout the day
    • Rinse thoroughly and stack any dirty dishes that are by or in the sink
    • Empty the clean dishwasher and reload it
  • Help with the Community Garden
  • Help to set out potluck dishes (about 5:30)
  • Clear the potluck tables (around 6:45)
  • Bring stray dishes back into the kitchen from the rest of the house

During Cleanup  10:00 PM–12:00 AM:
  • Ask the Cleanup Lead for tasks that you can do
  • Help clean up the Aphrodite/Pan Shrine
  • Volunteer to haul recycling or garbage away
(great if you have an apartment dumpster available!)
