What else?
If you have another idea for a contribution you would like to make, please let us know!
Speak to a staff member at an event, or send email to OLOTEAS (at) oloteas (dot) org.

Questions?
Thank you for all forms of your support and contributions, and please do ask the staff your questions! If you're a member of our Facebook group or Community Email list, you can also ask questions there.

How do I volunteer to be OLOTEAS Staff?
To become part of the OLOTEAS all-volunteer staff, you must make your interest known to a current staff member, complete the following four steps, and then be voted on by the current staff:

  • Help Out and “shadow” Staff for a Full OLOTEAS Event Day: Sign up for a month when you can be at OLOTEAS and work from 10 AM until all of cleanup is finished and everyone leaves the site (~12 AM).
  • Be a Guest Ritualist: Work with the Staff Potential Coordinator and upcoming ritual directors to find a month when you can participate in the 3 rehearsals and be a ritualist in the main ritual on an OLOTEAS event day.
  • Attend an OLOTEAS Staff Administrative Meeting: OLOTEAS Admin meetings are usually the Wednesday evening following the event day.
  • Complete a Staff Potential Questionnaire: Questions focus on your Spiritual/Magickal path and why you want to be OLOTEAS staff.

The voting/induction process:
The staff can vote at any Admin meeting, after the above four steps are completed. The vote is anonymous and every member of the current staff must vote “yes” for you to be accepted. If you are voted onto staff, you will officially join at the next OLOTEAS staff retreat.

Being on the OLOTEAS staff requires a large commitment of time and some resources:
  • You are expected to be in regular communication with other staff members on Facebook and email.
  • You are expected to attend OLOTEAS events, the monthly Admin meeting, and staff-funded retreats (two 1-day annual retreats and 1 weekend annual retreat).

When done in service to the Community, being OLOTEAS staff is very rewarding!

If you have additional questions, and if you are interested in applying, talk to a staff member at the next OLOTEAS event!

You can also donate to OLOTEAS and volunteer with OLOTEAS without joining staff. Thank you!
