We ask everyone to participate in our welcoming culture as you interact with others here.
  • Please wear a mask if you are more comfortable doing so.
  • We ask that you wash your hands frequently, especially before sharing food.
  • Please do not attend if you are experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness.
  • No alcohol or non-prescribed drugs are allowed.

Workshops & Rituals:

All event: Bring-Your-Own Picnic or Snacks
Please bring your own picnic snacks or lunch. Note that there are no food storage or preparation facilities at the park, so you will need to bring coolers, feast gear, and whatever else is needed to store and eat your food.

12:15–12:30 pm Welcome & Social (with Tarrent)

12:30–1:15 pm: Zombie Apocalypse Plant Walk (with Stephanie)
Current events got you interested in brushing up on your Zombie Apocalypse skills? Come explore plant technology in an urban forest: what's edible, what's medicinal, and what can be used for tools and material.

1:15–2:00 pm: Young Adult & Occult Discussion (ages ~15-25):
Magic in a Non-Pagan Society (with Valentine)
Young Adult & Occult is a space for Pagans in their late teens and early twenties (roughly 15-25) to build community and learn together that is held monthly at OLOTEAS events (and sometimes offsite). At this month's Young Adult & Occult: We will discuss how living in a non-Pagan society impacts our relationship to magic and Paganism.

2:00–2:30 pm Picnic Break

2:30–3:30 pm Pre-Ritual Discussion, followed by Ritual: Summer Pond Meditation (with Abhainn)
A guided meditation on the individual strengths and gifts we each bring to community.

3:45 pm Closing & Cleanup

What to Bring:
Blankets for the lawn and camping chairs if you'd like seating. Picnic dinner for yourself and snacks if you'd like to share, plenty to drink (water etc. - no alcohol allowed on site), and your own feastgear (plate, cup, utensils). Dress for the weather with extra layers and/or sunscreen as necessary. Feel free to bring and play lawn games or drums or other acoustic instruments. Pets must be leashed and kept away from food.

A Note About Parking and Carpooling:
There is limited parking at this site – please carpool if at all possible. Parking in the lots is recommended – cars parked illegally in the surrounding neighborhood may be towed.
The park is served by the Metro Transit C Line from downtown Seattle, which runs frequently.
