Curious about joining Sean Ciall’s Song Circle, but not sure what it’s all about? All levels of musical ability are welcome, and feel free to bring instruments if you have them.

Saturday, July 28
10:30 am - 11:30 am: Ritual: Lugh and the Warrior (With Sean Ciall, Stone Circle)

11:30 am - 6:00 pm: Ritual: Artists' Pyramid II: To Will (With OLOTEAS, Stage)
A practical session where participants have the opportunity to experiment with divinatory and scrying techniques discussed in part I. Come find inspiration for a new work of art, or figure out how to get unstuck on an existing project.

Dedicated space for working on sacred arts and crafts. Art supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your own.
1:00 pm - 2:30 pm: Workshop: Energy and Self Protection: The Application of Energy Work in Physical Self Defense (With Sean Ciall Sword Circle & Rich, Workshop Tent)
This workshop will focus on how basic (and not so basic) energy work (“KI”) can be used to keep yourself physically safe. We will discuss and demonstrate how energy work can be a valuable tool for self-protection and staying safe. We will have a guided visualization to allow you to apply your personal energy to help keep yourself safe in potentially risky situation.
We will discuss Energy Work and its application to:
Managing Perception – Managing how you are perceived by potential threats while making yourself energetically a poor target. We will focus on teaching you to manage your energetic and psychic state during potentially threating situations.
Energy Awareness – We will discuss the application of “Metsuku” (how we view the internal and external realities of other people and our environment) to assess our safety.
Connection – Connecting to a potential threat to “influence them” into engaging in behavior beneficial to everyone.
Taking the Opponent’s Balance – Using energy work to take an attackers physical, emotional, and psychic balance to apply appropriate self-defense techniques.
3:00 pm - 4:00 pm: Workshop: Purification, Baptism, and That Wily Marketer, Paul of Tarsus (With Janice Van Cleve, Workshop Tent)
Many Pagan books advise purification before rituals or incorporate purification in the ritual by smudging or anointing. But do we need it? Are we impure or are we infected by that master salesman, Paul of Tarsus?
3:00 pm - 4:30 pm: Kids’ Workshop: Gender Ed (With Growing Up Pagan, Outdoor Lounge)
At this year’s ESP, the Magical Miscreants are running a one-time, lecture-and-discussion-heavy workshop for kids between the ages of 8 and 13 where kids will be given an open space to learn and ask questions about gender and gender presentation. We encourage parents to use their own discretion when deciding if their kids are ready to participate in this workshop.
4:30 pm - 5:30 pm: Workshop: Young Adult & Occult Discussion Group (With Magical Miscreants, Workshop Tent)
At the July Young Adult & Occult we will have a group discussion about the importance of names both in and outside of magickal settings.
5:30 pm - 6:30 pm: Workshop: Manifestation, Mental Culture, and Self-Healing Within a Narrative Framework (With Tina, Workshop Tent)
Come, identify and articulate personal wishes for your own success and happiness in a safe and relaxed environment.
Move to visualize your goals and ability to manifest personal achievement and more happiness with nonjudgmental support. Identify and control your own inner critic along the way so you may break free...
Heal your soul and aura by letting go of past regrets and spent energy. Reclaim your confidence and well-being! Live vibrantly with healing and happiness.
This workshop will be guided, mindful, and experiential - focused on personal healing in order to achieve your dreams :)
You may bring a pillow or blanket.
8:00 pm - 9:00 pm: Ritual: Lugh and the Wise One (With Sean Ciall, Stone Circle)
Lugh faces the Cailleach one last time and makes a sacrifice. Skyclad (nudity) is required for participation in this ritual.
9:30 pm - 10:30 pm: Ritual: Artists' Pyramid IV: To Be Silent (With OLOTEAS, on the Thumb)
A silent display of art. Come and be inspired by the creative genius of our community.
Sunday, July 29
9:00 am - 10:30 am: Workshop: Influence As a Tool for Psychic Attacks (With Robert, Walton, & Rich, Workshop Tent)
There has been extensive discussion lately on how people’s beliefs and behaviors are being affected by politics, foreign countries, TV, social media, and the press. We will investigate the nature of Influence Operations (IO) and how we can protect our minds from these highly sophisticated psychic attacks. IO involves controlling or at least affecting a “Target’s” information flow, processing, behavior, and perception through the use of subconscious attacks. Through these attacks, it becomes possible to affect a Target’s beliefs, emotions, and behavior.
This workshop will discuss the theory and practice of Influence Operations, the role the media plays (both positive and negative) in IO, the legal aspects of IO, and how to recognize and protect yourself from such attacks.
10:30 am - 11:30 am: Workshop: Quaker Pagan Meeting for Worship (With Laura, Workshop Tent)
Join us for a Sunday meditative workshop to reflect on the weekend. This workshop will combine Quaker and Pagan methods of worship into one. Quakers worship by gathering in silence and inviting the Divine to speak through them. We will begin with a brief orientation for people who have never attended Quaker Meeting for Worship. A circle will be cast in Pagan style, and then we will gather in silence. Participants will be invited to contemplate on the festival of Lughnasadh and share any Divine messages with the assembled.
11:30 am - 1:00 pm: Workshop: I’m Not a Maiden, Not Yet a Crone: Non-Mother Goddesses for Women in Their Middle Years (With Tasha, Workshop Tent)
The Pagan community is often a haven for people who are “others” to conventional society for one reason or another, but our archetype of the goddess as Maiden-Mother-Crone unintentionally makes an “other” out of women who are not mothers whether by choice or biology. Join Tasha, director of this year’s Sean Ciall Fires of Lughnasadh ritual cycle, to learn about child-free goddesses from around the world and re-examine the way we approach Pagan womanhood.
1:00 pm - 1:30 pm: Ritual: Farewell (With Sean Ciall, Stone Circle)
Our ritualists gather once more to bid farewell to the gods, the participants, and the land.
1:30 pm - 4:00 pm <Strike Camp & Clean Up Begins>
Please get your campsite packed and cleaned up so that you are ready to depart after Closing Circle ends.
2:00 pm - 3:00 pm: Kids' Popsicle Party (With Magical Miscreants, Outdoor Kitchen)
Have your little one join us for a fun summer popsicle party! We will have games, face paints and bu,bbles galore. Kids of all ages welcome!
4:00 pm - 4:30 pm: Ritual: Closing Circle (With OLOTEAS, Stone Circle)
Center and ground after the weekend of excitement, and say our farewells to the site and to our community.
